Engineered quartz
Engineered quartz is resistant to mechanical damage, wear, abrasion and scratches. With regard to its hardness, engineered quartz is only surpassed by corundum, topaz, and diamond.
Engineered quartz is resistant to mechanical damage, wear, abrasion, and scratches. In terms of hardness, it ranks below only corundum, topaz, and diamond.
Engineered quartz consists of 93 to 95% milled natural quartz, with resins (4-6%) acting as a binder.
The variety of colors and decorative elements is provided by added minerals and particles such as marble chips, mirror particles, and coloring agents. Engineered quartz is produced in slabs and used in residential and commercial buildings for tabletops, wall cladding, flooring, stairs, and other interior surfaces.

Healthy and environmentally friendly (eco-friendly)
The natural composition of engineered quartz, its homogeneous texture, and the complete absence of voids and microcracks contribute to these important features, effectively preventing pathogen development.
Unlike granite, engineered quartz has no inherent radioactivity. It is composed of only environmentally friendly components and natural dyes, free from toxins and allergens, while possessing antibacterial properties. These characteristics make engineered quartz a recommended material for kitchens and bathrooms. It is also suitable for use in medical facilities and laboratories.
The color variety of engineered quartz surpasses that of natural stone, offering more versatile, vibrant, and reliable options.
Engineered quartz offers significant advantages over marble and granite. While marble is brittle and susceptible to damage from food acids (even a drop of wine or champagne can permanently mar the surface), engineered quartz is highly resilient. Its void-free composition makes it completely moisture-resistant. With a low moisture absorption rate of just 0.02%, engineered quartz surfaces are highly resistant to staining.
Maintenance of engineered quartz is simple: all that's needed is a cloth and standard liquid or gel detergent. This contrasts sharply with marble, granite, and other natural stones, which require special polishes to reduce their porosity and protect the surface.
Engineered quartz is exceptionally user-friendly and doesn't require regular additional treatments or expenses, unlike natural stone. With normal use and basic care, an engineered quartz surface maintains its initial appearance for years, consistently looking as good as new.
